I love how I can infuse a client with a newfound confidence simply through a haircut, restyle or hair reconditioning. I enjoy helping clients re-imagine themselves with a recolour and rejuvenate their hair with the right treatments.
For me, hairdressing is all about going the extra mile to ensure my clients leave my care with a huge smile on their face and a hairstyle to bring out their true inner beauty.
A fully insured and qualified professional hairdresser & stylist who one multiple awards whilst at training college completing my 3 year VTCT SVQ Level 3 (Wella Student of the Year, Colour Correction Competition). I also have experience working at various award winning professional salons in the Edinburgh area prior to opening my own salon.
Hairdressing technology and products do not stand still and I believe leaning is a life long pursuit. Consequently, I am also fully certified in FABRIQ Hair Treatments and OLAPLEX Hair Treatment products and multiple hair extensions techniques too. See below for just some of my qualifications. I am originally from Jakarta in Indonesia, but have now lived in Edinburgh for over 20 years. I believe my background and skill set is perfect for the service industry as I can provide my clients with the famous Indonesian friendly hospitality. The added bonus is I can also introduce my clients to the renowned and exotic Indonesian Cream Bath hair treatment!
Working in high end professional hair salons in Edinburgh was great, but I had so much more to offer. I wanted to make my mark and really engage with my clients as best as possible. To do that, I needed to establish my own business and salon, Indo Soul Hair (‘Indo’ is short for Indonesian). Many learn on the job over many years but there is no substitute for formal professional education.
